This is a really cool concept, the artwork looks great and the idea is super simple to understand. I appreciated that you start the player off in a room which can't hurt them so that they have time to learn how to play the game, that was a smart choice ! Great work :)

Yep that's spot on ! We wanted to explore an idea where you could scale the size of projectiles. The enemies also infinitely join together to "build" in scale over time :)

For example:

The explosions freeze that way on purpose but we may have got a bit carried away haha. Thanks for playing we hope you enjoyed it !

Thank you so much for taking the time to play our game !! This is great feedback and actually something we were considering - we ended up sticking to the arrow keys to try give that tough 'arcade like' feel but also it's really helpful to hear how you found this ! Thank you :)

This game looks incredible. Really great amount of polish. I think that games which have constantly switching modes can often lack an aspect of control, I was really pleased that you gave me the option to select some modes to take away each round - I felt like this brought back my control and was really clever design. Overall I really enjoyed playing, great work!! :)

What a fun challenge! Learning how to phase in and out of the walls while jumping between platforms was really engaging. Awesome work :)

The animation at the start had me hooked from the beginning. The different modes added a fun twist to the gameplay and kept it fresh. I also loved the variation of enemies I could fight. Great work :)

This is a really interesting and fun take on the theme. The game looks really good - I loved the seamless transitions between portions of the levels. Also I loved music mode and feeding the fish haha.

Great work :)

I love the way this game looks. The concept was really cool as well, reminded me of my favourite game of all time: Papa's Freezeria. A la good job :)

This is really impressive, great work finishing your first game! I liked the tongue mechanic and thought the donkey mode was fun as well. I also liked that at times there were multiple paths you could choose, it kept the game feeling fresh! Amazing :)

I really like this idea, super challenging to pick up but once I got the hang of it I found it really satisfying and addicting. The video you had of you playing really motivated me to do better after I saw what was possible haha. Great work :)

I really like this idea. The visual feedback for the boxes breaking was really helpful for me to learn the different uses for the modes in the game. The presentation is also really cute!

I also noticed your comment below about adding sound, I like to use JSFXR or SFXR to add free sounds quickly to my games. It's a really easy tool for sound effects if you don't have much time so it's worth checking out if you're interested :)

Anyway I really enjoyed your game, the modes add a good variety to the gameplay and solving little Metroidvania puzzles is a super engaging take on the theme. Great work :)

I love this game! I fell off of the track within the first 3 seconds of playing but I quickly learnt that I could use this to my advantage and create shortcuts. This has a really fun flow and makes me feel like I am going SUPER fast. I feel like it would be really cool to see a map of where you are - I was really curious to see the map's full layout while I was playing.

This is really awesome and I had a great time playing :)

Thank you so much for playing!! We have a tune but because of some limitations on our web version the music takes some time to play depending on the browser. Thank you for the kind feedback :)

This game slaps! I lost it when the billboard girls were covered in the blood of my enemies haha I have nothing to say other than this was wicked and you guys did an amazing job :)

I had a really fun time playing this. I love how you have to traverse the map to get to the different levels - this was a really cool way of learning how some of the mechanics work in the game. Amazing work :)

I was hooked on this game from the opening cutscene! I wish there was more because what is here is really funny and creative :)

This is probably the best take on the theme I've seen so far. Really awesome idea, super challenging but fair. I found this one had a really good skill curve. Amazing work :)

What a cool take on the theme! This would be such a tough idea to execute on in 2 weeks so awesome work making it as fun as it is. I thought that the various enemy types worked really well as ways to influence where the player has to move. Nice work :)

Number 3 on the leaderboard! I love the presentation, the opening of the game was really creative and cool. I think the concept was really simple to learn and I liked the cool things you added like having the trajectory change colour to match the mode. Great work :)

We did have similar ideas haha! I love how relaxing this is, the messages as you climb higher and higher are a really nice touch and the game looks and sounds really polished/simple. Great work :)

Making a rhythm game for a game jam is super impressive! I love the presentation and your exploration of such a unique idea. I think I love this game even more for Ivory though, not sure why a piano with eyes is so perfect haha! Amazing work :)

Wow this is such a fun and intuitive game! I am really impressed at the behavior you have implemented for the ice, seems so clever haha. Amazing polish, presentation and design - great work :)

This is such a great idea for a game, the game-play loop is super unique but works really well. Also really surprised you had time to add a leader-board that is awesome!! Great work :)

This game has so much charm! I found the concept to be really intuitive to pick up, I wish there was more levels! Amazing work :)

Gyah!! This is by far the best score I have seen you're amazing!

The particle effects paired with the sound felt amazing! Really made me feel like picking up more cheese and chasing cats! Great work :)

Wow this looks and sounds amazing! Happy to have played :)

Love the concept and presentation! Really nice work pulling this off for a jam :)

Fire game which was super simple to pick up, I love the bizarre vibe! Nice work :)

The core concept is really solid! I love how you roll for stats at the start and see how far you can go! I could definitely see this being polished up with heaps of weird stats to roll for in the future! Great work :)

Really unique concept! I wish I had friends to play this with *tear drips down face*, but i can see this being super fun with others! Good job :)

Your art is so fire! Loving all the different enemy types and the variation in dice! Rolling the dice when you miss an enemy is a really creative touch too!! Great work :))

This took me a bit to get but once I understood how to play I realized this is a really unique and fun approach to a detective game! I loved deciding whether to keep a card or get rid of it! Balancing the different stats was really engaging, definitely deserves more plays! Great work :)

I wish this game had more plays because it's one of the most fun games i've played so far! The little details in all the characters and crowd is an awesome touch! The combat is really unique and the facial expressions are hilarious too! Amazing work!!

Really fun concept, this game has a surprising amount of depth for something made in 2 days, the level layout is super unique and the dice combat and shop is awesome! Great work!!

Super straight forward concept with heaps of polish and depth to keep it fun! Awesome work :)

Super unique concept! Theres heaps of depth here for a game jam game! Definitely needs a little sound but other than that this game goes hard! Nice work :))

This game is straight fire! I love the mix between a board game and an RPG! Could definitely see a version of this with wildly different boards for different areas/levels! Love it!! :)

I love this idea so much! Really creative take on the theme and could defs see this being a cool puzzle game on the app store in the future! Also it was very polite how you stopped me from falling off if the number was too big hahaha, although that would be funny if it did too! nice work :)))

This is a really creative take on the theme! I love how you can pick up the dice and sort them out on one table, then move them to select them! I feel like this game has heaps of little details like that which really add to the experience! Amazing work :))
