Ok so I was NOT expecting to be playing a visual novel in this game jam… and the avian cast is just the cherry on top. Great art and silly dialogue. Good job! (No vulture rep though??)

Wisbrium's itch.io pageJudge feedback
Judge feedback is anonymous.
- Wisbrium is a graphic short story based on the point of view of a cursed sentient weapon owned by a dragon. Eventually with the defeat of the dragon, a party of adventurers pick up the weapon and start interacting with it. Great little story, but it was very linear. More player agency is necessary to truly engage the player in the experience beyond just reading; an example of this would be showing WHAT the weapon looks like. the art of the dragon, horde, and adventurers, was great. Including an image of the player or giving the player an option of being a sword/mace/wand etc. would be good. To truly gamify Wisbrium, give the player more agency and don't just tell a story.

Summarise your game!
It's a visual novel in which you have to choose how to influence the others to suit your needs or to help them in their moment of need. It's up to you!
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
In this game, you are literally a weapon. A magical artifact able to influence others to do your biding.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
It's our first game! We are very proud of it and we did our best! It's a bit rough around the edges still. We hope you enjoy the art and the story!
