I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one who saw this 4 color palette as basically a 3 color palette. The lack of contrast lends itself to subtle touches though like the slight variations in your grass. That was a smart way to add a little texture. And I like the concept of this. It'd be cool to see a farming game in the Game Boy style.
