I think you didn't hit the theme very well.
But the game itselfs is fun to play and I really like the artstyle!
Nice gameplaymechanic!

I especially wanted to avoid falling into the simplicity of just making a character who falls, certainly that would have stuck better to the theme but wouldn't necessarily have brought a lot of gameplay?

Thanks for trying my game

Really like the mechanics, was just a lot of fun to play the game.
Levels were designed quite well. Sadly I often had problems with bugs. For example being stuck behind a wall, or when not releasing the "jump" button the head was just following my cursor. In addition you made many levels to showcase new obstacles. If you iron out the bugs, this is a really solid experience

Thanks for your feedback,

The worst thing is that the shot that triggers automatically I added it later, because I wanted to add difficulty to better manage the launch gauge. But in the end he give more frustrated , it taught me one more thing, and that's the goal of gamejams :)

Respect Of the Theme - I think because the skeleton head is affected by gravity it is falling? I feel like it missed the theme just a bit.

Originality - Super original in story and mechanics. A free roaming, level based, angry bird! Great!

Fun to play - I want so badly to rate this higher! Unfortunately I ran into a bug, holding movement to long makes the player spaz out and get stuck in walls. It made me die a good number of times. I wasn't sure if I was doing well either since the skeleton was sassy xD, if I do better would the skeleton compliment me?

Effort - Uploaded 48 minutes to deadline. Honestly I could feel the effort here, there is a lot going on! Buttons, bones, dynamic moving obstacles, puzzle based levels, you really dug in and brought your A game. I hate the experience was affected by bugs because it really could be a strong contender.

Beauty - The GFX are really good and consistent! well done!

Example of buggy movement:

Very well seen, at the base the movement was not done automatically once loaded, but I found that it brought more difficulty or it was necessary to gauge the throw a little.

But yes, this created collision problems, due to a lack of testing :) In any case, thank you for the feedback

I made it to the fourth level. I enjoyed it quite a lot actually. It made me want to keep trying to get further. It is pretty glitchy though. I stopped after getting stuck in the wall. It is fun, but too glitchy to try too seriously. Not sure it fits the theme of falling super well. Loved the art! Hard to believe it was made in such a short amount of time. I would like to see a version with the glitches fixed. The controls would have been easy if not for the glitches. The skull sometimes gets stuck in the wall and also if you go too fast he spazzes out.

Developer

You encountered the same problem as the comment above, I really thought to force the player not to stay fully pressed, but that it was necessary to gauge the power in order not to lose.

This is mainly due to a lack of testing during the dev weekend.

Thank you for your return, and for information in total there are 8 levels.

Very fun game! a bit buggy though. But nice sound!

Developer

Thank you, for taking the time to try the game, can you tell me what caused the problem? as a bug?
