I liked the momentum based platforming a lot! It felt really rewarding to land tricky jumps paired with the dash. My one suggestion would probably be to increase the acceleration speed to pump up the pace a little :>

Top tier pixel-art and music. Unforgiving platformer but i powered through and now im the godamn Kanji King! I love the 90s cartoon plot xxx.

I'm pretty bad with platformers but this game is so cute, that you just have to play it anyway!^^
Nice game, cute art, interesting music. Pretty hard though. ^^
is this game just a platformer? yes, yes it is. Does it excel at every aspect of it's design, audio, and artwork? Yes yes it does.
The lack of mid air control makes it difficult, but rewarding. I'd be interested to see how it played with more traditional pixel platformer controls.
Music is banger. Art is banging too. I would love to see a 100% full game of this with some of the levels more fine tuned for those of us less skilled.
I made music for this game so i am biased but easy 9/10
