Something about the twisty screw coming out of the computer that you bonk with a hammer tickles my braincells. I like it.
Okay game, a little too loud even on the lowest volume. Most of the time you're sitting there waiting for the bad guy to appear. Nice maniac design though.
Hey there! Glad u liked the game! The maniac guy was my first 3D animated model. As for the volume, thats odd but i get why. I made this game while wearing headphones, so maybe things were off audio-wise. Do you know any ways I can improve that for next time?
I really don't know how Godot works, but in my opinion your base volume for every sound in the game should be lower, than it supposed to be in the original, because people like quiet stuff more than loud.
The screen effect on PC was bonkers good, how did you do that? Awesome entry!
Liked the game a lot. I don't enjoy FNAF style games too much, but this was a great exception. Well done!
Best of luck with the jam!
the tv screen used a shader, listed in the credits. As for actual implementation, i believe it was a plane with a crt shader applied that had a viewport displaying a UI layer. The plane was put right in front of the computer model's actual screen to sell the effect.
Thanks! Hadnt realized it was FNaF-y when making it, but tbf FNaF is my only real experience with horror games xD
