That was awesome, kept me hooked till the very end, I was starting to worry at some point that I was never going to finish! Great job, fun game, very creative and original, nailed the theme perfectly!! :)

I liked how the mechanics made the player think about what to do to finish the level. I also liked that in many levels of the game, I died multiple times but each time I played the level, I became better. The instant respawn definitely prevents the game from being frustrating. Though I liked the gameplay, I think some simple polish could be added to the game. First of all, to add variety to the sound effects, you can create two sound effects for each action that produces a sound effect, and then program the game so that the game randomly chooses one of the sound effects each time the action is performed. You can also randomly change the pitch of the sound effects too. In this way, more variety is added and the game becomes more interesting. Also, some good music and some UI menues (especially a main menu) could help with the mood of the game. Overall, I enjoyed this game.

Really neat lil game. Congrats on getting it out there so quickly!
Took a while before I got used to all those tiny little platforms, but was a pretty cool design choice in my books! Got used to it after a bit, or so I thought. XD A lot of trial and error when it came to finishing levels, and was frustrating at times, but was very satisfying when completing a particularly hard level. Loved the minimalist graphics. Well done!

Really good game, drove me crazy not being able to use WASD (my arrow keys are SUPER small), but that is probably on me.  Fun take on the theme and great retro graphics.  I felt so proud finishing that last level, hopefully this isn't considered a spoiler.

Thanks,  I'm glad you liked it! I suppose its to late to add WASD now but i'll keep that in mind for next time, Will there be another Pre-Indie game jam?

I am planning on doing this yearly.  So there will not be one for another 12 months.  Pre-Indie Game Jam 2 will probably be a week or two later in May next time.  Glad you enjoyed!  Hopefully you can compete in some other itch.io or Ludum Dare events to keep you busy until then.
