Minutes before the update, a new version of the game was posted to 4chan by someone claiming to be ZK, claiming that Obscure Horror Corner had not been showing their viewers the "true" Sad Satan. Members of the 4chan community downloaded this version of the game and attempted to play it. Some users complained that their computers began running sluggishly, and a few even reported that their computers became completely unresponsive while trying to run the game. A few users even reported that their computers would not turn on anymore after running this version of the game. One Reddit user attempted to play the game from a Live USBinstead of from his computer's main hard drive. Later, when this user tried to boot up his computer, the computer failed to start up normally. This version of the game, dubbed the "clone" by most of the /r/sadsatan community, contained images of violent gore and child pornography, some of which were accessible right from the title screen; resulting in another version of the game with this graphic material removed (which is often called the "clean" version) being created by Redditors and subsequently redistributed.
I did not want to directly link this: https://scareberezk.itch.io/sad-satan
But I heard this version has some questionable content. If I recall correctly from the subreddit r/sadsatan, I do not think there is CP or malware, but I think there is real gore (not sure about this).
Furthermore, the correct story of Sad Satan is that there are multiple versions of Sad Satan. First, an edited version of the game was released to the public that was generally safe (no real gore, no CP, no malware). But a person by the name of ZK claimed the originally released version was edited and gave a link to the true version (which had malware, gore and CP). There are numerous versions of the game out there, some completely safe, others not having malware or CP but real life gore, and some with CP, gore, and malware.
I highly recommend someone to check out the link above and see if its safe or not because I am not brave enough to do so myself...
I have reported this game: https://scareberezk.itch.io/sad-satan
However, I have not received any response. I even tried directly emailing the itch.io
Plus this Reddit post claims that the version is unclean (perhaps having illicit and grotesque materials):
https://www.reddit.com/r/sadsatan/comments/mqc2c1/sad_satan_on_itchio_safe/
From the subreddit r/sadsatan, I heard that there are variations of the game Sad Satan which have been posted on itch.io that contains illegal content (CP and Gore). Obviously, I do not want to check this myself. Is it possible for some type of moderator to fact check this and delete the content?
Some links to consider:
I also heard there is a person on itch.io named ScarebareZK that posted a version of this game.
Feedback:
*Time stopping mechanics are not exactly unique to video games, but I believe this game used it in an interesting manner enough to differentiate it from other games. I liked the research that was put in to the game.
*The visuals were pleasant enough. I liked the aesthetic, although it did seem too simple.
*The music was good. The sound effects were decent too, but there was a bullet sound effect that was too loud (caused a jumpscare for me).
*The gameplay is decent. I wish there was a better tutorial however. I was confused on how to reach the different levels. I also do not understand the purpose of going back to rooms that I have already been in.

Feedback:
*This game needs a more comprehensive tutorial. I did not understand how to play the game.
* The visuals for the most part were alright. I liked the lightness and darkness. I disliked the walking animation however.
*The sound effects were pretty good. I felt that a bunch of random notes were hit for the music. Therefore, I do not really like the music that well.
*I do not understand how this game uses the Clockwork theme.

* I do not feel that this game is really unique. I feel like I have seen games similar to this.
* The visuals were really good. I especially like the player shooting animation because the burst of color from the fire just looked good contrasted with the dark background. I really liked the blood splatter. The pixel art was fantastic. I do, however, wish the timer text was in a light color as the current black color blends in too well with the background.
* The music was pretty good. I liked the main menu using a clock in the background. The music during the level is better however. The sound effects were decent too.
*I felt several issues with the gameplay. First, I would like there to be a better tutorial on how to play the game. I am confused on many aspects, namely if the player has any health. Furthermore, I am guessing the player gains points by killing enemies. Another issue I had with the game is the fact that the powerups seem to spawn in only two places (both on the top). This incentivizes the player to only remain on the top and not traverse towards other regions. However, the actual gameplay was alright. I liked destroying enemy bullets by firing my bullets at them. Finally, the glitch that is mentioned in the description is really annoying. The game should make the interval between death and replaying as short as possible.

Feedback:
*This game is creative. I have never played a game that had a combination of mechanics like this.
*The visual experience was great. I really liked the bright colors on a dark background. I liked the feature that allowed the player to choose palettes (provided that the player unlocks them first).
*The sound effects were pretty good. The music fit the mood of the game, but it was kind of boring. Also, there was an audio glitch where replaying the game without going back to the main menu would make the music not play.
*I usually do not like games with no finite end goal. This is because playing these games makes me feel that the game is meaningless as I do not really feel a sense of accomplishment. Furthermore, these games seem to be plagued with repetition. However, I did have some fun in the unique gameplay. I found it stressful and challenging to conserve my jumps to get cogs and avoid obstacles without falling to my death. I believe that the tutorial should be more clear onto how jumps are limited and how to get more jumps. Furthermore, I believe that the tutorial should address the floating obstacles that appear later on when getting higher scores.

* I felt that the gameplay was unique. I have never played any game like this before.
* The visuals were pretty good. I liked the color coding and felt it aided with the gameplay. I also felt the black dots on the red surfaces were oddly satisfying. However, I noticed an issue with the shading of lightness and darkness on the objects. As the objects rotate, areas which should be darker in color remain very light in color while areas which should be lighter in color remain very dark.
* The music was pretty good. I liked how soothing it sounded and felt it fit the mood of the game.
*I liked the gameplay. It was pretty simple but I felt it fit the calming mood. I found the last level to have some elements that I did not have to use to finish the game.
*This game did not use the theme Clockwork.

* This game is not too unique. I have seen similar games to this. However, the time-reversed bullets, placement of bullets, and shooting hearts were unique aspects.
* The visuals for the most part were pretty good, especially the graphics for the heart. However, I did not like a background image being present on the left and right hand side of the game as it initially confused me when I was playing. Furthermore, the graphics for the bullets (that were shot) and the characters were a little too simple in style. I especially thought the graphics of the bullets were exceptionally inelegant which contrasted to the ammo UI.
* The music was pretty good and fit the mood of the game. The sound effects were decent enough.
*I usually do not like games with no finite end goal. This is because playing these games makes me feel that the game is meaningless as I do not really feel a sense of accomplishment. Furthermore, these games seem to be plagued with repetition. However, this game was somewhat fun. Even though the time reversing bullets did not add much to the gameplay, they were somewhat interesting. I liked placing bullets and leading the AI to kill itself by strategically moving. I also liked how the game got increasingly difficult and stressful. Importantly, I think a tutorial is necessary in this game.
Some issues that you should know:
*There is this glitch that occasionally occurs when I click the button to restart the game. Instead of resetting the game, the game just quits.
*There is another glitch where sometimes I can not collect health by colliding onto it.
*Finally, there are some grammar mistakes in the descriptions of the game.

Feedback:
* This game was very creative and I have not played a game like this before. I do not know what genre this game is in.
* I liked the 3D visuals, despite their usage of simple objects. I really liked how an additional camera was present at the bus stops.
* The music was decent and the sound of the people complaining was hilarious.
*The gameplay was fun and challenging though I wish there was a better tutorial present in the game.

I liked the concept behind the game. I liked how the timing of the button presses tested the player's reflexes and punished trigger happiness. I, however, thought the game was too harsh in its punishments and I disliked this. I found it unfair that the player had to restart the whole game once the player failed. It was very frustrating for me to lose so much progress. This is because I did not like repeating everything I did in the game again.
During the jam, I worked 4 hours maximum every day of the week. I was really busy with work related stuff during the jam, so I did not make much progress on weekdays.

I have played and rated this Brackeys Game Jam #2 entry.
One Concept I Liked:
* I liked the pixelated graphical style of the game, especially the art of the sun.
One Concept I Disliked:
* The game is too hard and I am unable to get a score above zero even in the easiest difficulty in the game.
I too participated in the Brackeys Game Jam #2. I would be very grateful if you would rate my game.
