Good start! I included your game in my Pirate Jam Pre-Jam Skirmish compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

A nice and simple game that was fun to play. I liked it. Great job!

Nice game! I like the ship model which is pretty relaxing to sail around. I had trouble finding any pirates to collect my bounty on though. The loading and firing the cannon mechanic was a nice touch too.

Good work!

A nice, simple game, well done! I wish the enemy ships had been threatening and that maybe more of them spawned (I only saw 4 ships over 5 minutes), but it was also nice just to sail around to the music so I didn't really mind :)

Thanks for the feedback, I wanted to have some enemy AI but ran out of time.

At the end I had to decide between having more than one enemy ship or having A enemy ship that could move and decided to go with quantity over quality 😅

Thanks for the note about the number of ships, the are randomly spawned as you kill one so there is technically an infinite number of ships but I do think the spawners might be too far spread out for 5 minutes, originally the round time was 15 but I felt there just wasn't enough to do to justify that long.

This is very close to what I wanted to do with my game, but I decided not to because I wanted more time to make it cool. Great work! (I think we used the same technique for our ripply water. Brackeys?)

Yes, wanted a nice cartoony water and that tutorial was just perfect

Makes me think of this game called Buccaneer, A Pursuit Of Infamy. Once of my old time faves!

Glad to hear my submission brought out some nostalgia hopefully it wasn't a terrible experience playing it and ruining the memory 😅
