Very interesting story! I included your game in my Pirate Jam Pre-Jam Skirmish compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Really cool narrative game, it gave me a Journey vibe.  Art is great, and the atmosphere is really calm and soothing. I loved it !

Hmm maybe I'm missing something but it seems like nothing happens after the green glowing circle with the torches appear. Or is that the ending? Anyway I liked the atmosphere of the game.

A black screen with THE END text should have appeared, it seems like we have a bug yay

Very cool atmospheric short story!

On a side not: Please make sure you mark the download as a Windows build so that folks can play it more easily with the itch.io desktop client.

Developer

Oh! Thanks for the Windows build advice, we had no clue about that

Yeah the itch.io desktop client streamlines the playing of games, especially for game jams, so that you don't need to manually download, unzip, open up, deal with permissions, just to open each game. It's a real time saver.

GORGEOUS. Nice setup, it's a narrative game, it does it well. The lack of decisions/interactivity isn't my cup of tea, but the craft is GREAT <3

[EDIT: The bug is gone!]

Hi, we are the developers of the game. The version of the game that we uploaded has a game-breaker bug that we are trying to solve. We would thank you for your patience :)

Amazing art style! And the animations are top notch to top it off. I'm stuck in terms of progression though. It told me to rest at the bonfire but nothing happens when I sit down.

It's a bug we are trying to solve :( I don't know if we can upload a new version of the game in like 1 hour
