I had fun playing your game. I really like the procedurally generated levels and the gameplay. My only gripe is that I can't use the WASD movement. But still, well done!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah I just thought after the submission about the fact that my country is the only one using AZERTY keyboard lol. I will try to find a way to adapt the controls according to the keyboard for my next games.

A simple game, but still very fun. The step counter/timer was a good touch, and encouraged me to play the game several times over to beat my previous records. I think maybe the game could be improved by adding in additional obstacles (maybe enemies?) or perhaps by having a larger map, or by allowing the player to move diagonally.

Developer

Thanks!

Yeah I was running out of time, but I thought of adding new obstacles (not enemies though I think, I wanted a peaceful game lol).

Larger map could be really interesting with more objectives of course.  =)

Nice game! The gameplay was simple but executed well, I especially liked the screen changing colour to indicate proximity. I thought the sound design was really really good and the artstyle fit perfectly. One minor (picky) feedback is it would be nice if you only collided with the base of the tree, rather than the branches and leaves.

Developer

Thank you! I was much more ambitious at the start, but well not enough time to go further. Regarding collisions, I agree they are bad : unfortunately, the game engine doesn't include a collision detector, and I was too busy to be able to make a more complex one.

The sound design is the part of Jessica Robo and is beautiful indeed!

(PS : I tested your game yesterday, it's really nice too. Love the coffee / snow combination and the overall vibe)
