Hey! Good job on your game. Here are a few thoughts and suggestions
After killing one enemy, two spawn. At some point, there seem to be more enemies than you can shoot. Since the game has a timer to survive, you might want to consider predetermined enemy spawns or changing controls a little to ensure the game can be finished
but anyways, you did a great job, it works, there is even a menu. My best is 8000 score, 10 seconds
Thanks for playing!
I was running out of time at the end, so I didn't end up getting to fixing those little things or any playtesting. From the little bit of playing I did do though, you got a better score than me.
Good that you submitted something, it should hopefully be a nice experience to have people play your game and receive feedback :)
- The button hovering was a bit glitchy in the main menu, I wasn't able to hover credits at all
- Maybe some camera movement and faster gameplay would have been nice
Thanks for playing!
Yeah, I noticed the menu being glitchy, but I didn't have time to fix it. I tried making it move faster, but then I had a hard time aiming. I will also say that this is definitely not very entertaining.
Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it.
something about lasers being rotated the wrong way is just so funny lol. some music to keep me engaged would be nice (also the ship is rotating waaaaay to slow)
Yeah, I couldn't get them rotated the right way, so I just said to myself "those are just torpedoes or something".
good game! there are a couple things that would've improved the experience, though:
- always center the rotated surface of the player (rotations are kinda wonky)
- allow the player to shoot while rotating
Yeah, the rotations were giving me some issues every time I tried to fix it. As for the shooting while rotating, it would've been a quick fix, but I ran out of time at the end.
Thank you for playing it. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
