This was fun to experience, and I always love games that you can technically finish in like 30 seconds if you want to 🤣 Like sure, it's assault time, let's gooooooooooooooooo!
But also I think this was super clever, and tbh I appreciate that the romance scene I found wasn't detailed (I always feel awkward when they are lol, not that that's a judgment against them). It also felt very Star Trek-y lol due to it.
And it's super cool to have the two versions of it! I glitched when getting in the elevator and had to restart, but the Twine version worked perfectly, and it was cool checking out the different endings and exploring that story.
Thank you for your feedback Beth!! I'm glad you enjoyed both versions :D Star Trek was one of our inspiration so very fun to see you bring it up haha, we did try to explore queerness in the usually sleek ambiance of big-budget sci-fi media (despite the occasional swearing here and there).
I feel like as much as I swear during mundane situations irl, I would have a LOT to swear about in space, even with the best of company 😅 So that's 100% fair lol
And yeah! I couldn't quite put my finger on that originally, but your mention of "usually sleek ambiance" made me realize that was one of the major vibes I got from the visual version of the game: it was like the ship was shining, in pristine condition, and very well taken care of. It did absolutely give me sci-fi media vibes! 🥳
I'm not completely sure that I discovered all of either the Twine or the Unity prototype's secrets, but I enjoyed playing! Thank you for sharing this game.
The Unity Prototype only has way less, and only linear dialogue with the three characters, so if you found the gear broker in the cargo bay, and kept chatting with him, you found everything there! The Twine version has actual branches and a few endings, but if you got to the hug scene, you managed to find your way throughout the central plot of the game :> Thank you for your feedback and for playing it!!

Thanks for this tip, I went back and really enjoyed getting to the hug.
Congrats <3
i feel extremely seen going down and trying to see all of the dialog of the hot alien on board. :3
Haha we conceived the game around exploration of the theme of "obsession over a very specific character" so congrats for doing it :3
