The sprites look cool. Trying to get minerals wasn't worth it since the monsters seemed to attack unfairly.

I really liked the feedback on the mining and it felt appropriately difficult to mine through the stone. Is there different levels of hardness for each material? I couldn't really tell but I think it would be cool have gravel or something that is easier to move through as well
Thanks. I the different materials take the same amount of drilling actions to drill through, but the stone makes more noise. I was going to make the first material easier than the second, but I decided not to because I liked the number of actions required to move through them. I might have considered making the second material harder, but your noise already increases so fast that then I would have had to decrease the noise and I just didn't have enough time for balancing.
I loved the little monster sprites but I was never sure how close I could get to them or how much noise I could make before I woke them up
The aesthetic is clean, the bright colours do kinda take away from the scariness of getting caught, but if it's more aimed towards being a reference of Dig Dug, then that's fine. The gameplay can be very difficult and easily frustrating if their are no indicators on where you went wrong, but the challenge of figuring out the game on the first few play throughs was pretty engaging. Mechanics might be simple, they are pretty well implemented. Good Job on the game!
Thank. It could defiantly use a bit more of a tutorial explaining what is happening. The numbers on the right indicate the world noise that you have made, so if they reach the top all the monsters wake up and attack you. But it can also indicate that you are too close to the other monsters when it starts rising because they will add to it. But they can just wake up as they have their own count which is hidden to keep the player guessing a little. The original idea was that it would be a bit of a push your luck game with players needing to weigh up the risk of going deeper or turning back and keeping what they had already mined.
