The game is small, but the cube people is nice and it has music. Great job for 48 hours. Check this out for keeping the music going between scenes: https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Object.DontDestroyOnLoad.html?_ga=2.79084052.1250397364.1592327427-1746761473.1588391442
Thanks :)
I think this has a lot of potential if you expand on it! What's there so far is pretty great, and you seem to have created a good start to a game engine for yourself. I do wish the game restarted instead of closing, but given how you modeled everything in 3d, I understand why this got left on the table. I didn't count it in my scoring.
The 3d presentation was unexpected, but is a great way to tell even more story with each scene, and I loved some of the camera movements you managed to squeeze into some scenes such as leaving the van.
My gripe is with the theme exploit, while your game certainly features a road trip, it has very little to do with the actual article. I'm guessing time just caught up to you.
Having said that, if you expand on the game outside the jam limits, I would prefer finding out more about the characters you created instead of just following the wiki's scenarios.
Anyway, great job making the game, I loved it. :)
Thanks for the feedback, it helps 👍
I agree with Krafter, the game was interesting and the little scenes with the cubic persons are quite funny. The only problem is that you have to restart your game every time you lose. This isn't a major issue and maybe you were short on time and didn't have the time to add a menu.
Anyway, congrat on this one !
Im going to continue updating the game since I had quite a lot of fun making it and wanna improve even more upon it. Thanks for the feedback :)
I enjoyed the situations and writing, it is up my ally. This entry had a strong feel of "i could play more". Although you clearly ran out of time before getting to think of and implement the van story, mother's car is a good show of what could have been. 3D scenery works well. Very good game feel, average adherence to the theme, nice in overall, congrats on publishing this.
Thank you :)
