I would never have initially thought to score the scene in an alt-rock style, but it really fits so well! really love the chords and the way the music builds and layers, especially up to around 2:30 :) really nicely done!

My thought is this: super well done as an alt-rock piece, skill is top notch.

pro: the intro I loved how gently the guitar kind of recalls a Japanese Samisen before stuff gets less soft.

con: my feel is this much energy on this piece, it would still be in this game but be like the -next- piece where maybe he gets back with his remaining friends and says "ok she's gone.  We need to honor her and persevere, let's pick up and -Go!-"

but: i profess my ignorance as I'm not a native Kingdom Hearts player from back in the Day when the game was new..., I'm an old, lol, series is after my time.

But I -loved- the piece.  Nice work!

While I personally would've never thought this scene needed an alt rock score, I'm absolutely glad that you did. I really enjoyed it, only thing I can critique is I wish there was a sad electric guitar solo at the end after the rest of the band fades out. A solo, in my opinion, would just highlight how alone he becomes after she fades away.

Nice one!

Angsty rock piece complements the theme very well, especially the last part.

Mix is good, it has some place left for vocals (if you'd ever want to make song out of it, it's pretty much ready) or dialogues (if you want to use it as a scoring track). Not sure whether it was on purpose, but the overall sound is a bit retro. In a good way though.

If I were to nitpick, I'd probably say to chill out a bit with the melody (0:33 onwards). It's very nice but a bit "spammy": give our ears a beat or two more to process what we heard.

Solid work overall!

Well, I'm gonna be biased towards this one since I'm a rock/metal guy myself lol. This was pretty good. As for composition, I'm not one to critique the mixing when it comes to rock, but I do think a little more could have been done to beef up the guitar sound a bit.

Anyway, nice job on this. Hope to hear more of your stuff in the future.
