Yeah, mixing the music is something I'm still working on as well. So far what I've found to work is writing music while wearing my best headphones (which are only medium-good quality) and I'll get it pretty close, but then I'll listen to it in my car because it has better quality than my headphones to do the fine tweaking.

I definitely don't think your setup is terrible because the piece was very good overall. Unfortunately it can sound perfect on your system and then sound just a little off on another just due to the way electronics are. I agree that listening on more devices will help minimize that issue. Good luck making music!

That was lovely.

While I personally would've never thought this scene needed an alt rock score, I'm absolutely glad that you did. I really enjoyed it, only thing I can critique is I wish there was a sad electric guitar solo at the end after the rest of the band fades out. A solo, in my opinion, would just highlight how alone he becomes after she fades away.

I like the pacing and how the piece changes well to match the visuals.

Great piece! I liked how it changed and evolved as the piece went on, honestly it's something I think I could've done better in mine, but yours really feels like it takes me on a journey. Only thing is, I thought a few parts, such as  the trumpets at 2:26 at could be brought "further back" in the mix. Great work overall, thanks for sharing.

Really nice piece. I loved how calming and soothing it was. I went for a dramatic and tragic sound for mine, so I really like how your piece almost goes in the entirely opposite direction thematically. It sounds to me like she has accepted her death with peace and grace, and I love how you managed that.
