All Submissions Listened to...and a question

So, I joined the OST Composing Jam #7 a while back, and there were like 654 submissions. There was no way I was going to be able to listen to everybody's work, but here I was actually able to get through everyone's submissions. Super glad I was able to do so. It's very interesting to see how differently each person approaches the composition process.

On another note, I'm really curious about people's references and influences. If you have a way to share them, please do. Mine were as follows:

  • The track for Tsutey's death scene from Avatar the movie
  • Gray Fox's death music from Metal Gear Solid
  • The track for Mufasa's death scene in the Lion King
  • The Death of Sirius from Harry Potter
  • Hector's Death from Troy
  • Ghost's and Roach's Death scene from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
  • Raeb's Lament from God of War
  • The track from Sonic's death scene in Sonic 2006

The link to my playlist is here: Composition Jam Ref Tracks

External influences?  I'm an old working a 9-5 and doing music as a side-hobby so direct game influences that i could -name- are hopelessly twenty years in the rear view mirror

Probably the entire corpus of JRPG coming out of listening to a lot via emulation in the 90's and early 00's.  Principally Super Famicom

I do so much self-listening it might be simpler to just post myself

A lot is on unconscious guts, but it's fair to note that i was on SoundCloud 18 months before I came to Itch.  It's fair to list this link then lol...

Much layers of incestuous re-distillation of prior track series.
