Hey everyone! Super excited to be a part of this! I am a composer and sound designer and have experience doing audio integration with FMod as well as Unity. Linked below is a Google Drive with a few samples of my music. I love working with sound fonts and manipulating them, so this jam is geared towards exactly the type of music I love to make! Additionally, I am experienced in sound design, so I would love to be a one-stop shop for anyone interested, doing the music, sound effects, and integration for you! I am looking for any and all experience, so f you're interested, reply to this thread and we can get the ball rolling!

you got some really good tunes.

Thanks so much! I appreciate your kind words. It’s really nice to meet you! What side of game development do you do?

I mostly do coding. Sometimes a little bit of everything wherever is needed.

That’s awesome! Super cool! I’ve mainly geared my focus towards programming and integrating on the audio side of things but have been trying to learn more game programming fundamentals. What engine do you typically work in for games?

My go to engine is redot / godot.  I really like how it works.  Open source  and a really good community.   Mainly like the part if you publish something you dont need to pay anyone for using the engine. I find it works best with 2d games at the moment.

yeah redot/godot is incredible! currently using it rn lol

Wicked, Currently messing around with a really cool online multiplayer plugin called  (Multiplaycore https://mpc.himaji.xyz/docs/start/introduction/)   It is awesome.  If you ever had to write network code before you will know how boring and pain in the arse it can get.  So I'm working on a cops vs fugitive  hide and seek game.  The idea I have is have 1 player hide in a pokemon gen 1 like world and have 4 other players be bounty hunters trying to find and capture the fugitive player.

This concept sounds SUPER cool, and the game sounds super fun. I really love the idea of taking the Pokemon style world map and navigation and adding hide and seek/cops and robbers elements to it! As a music/audio guy, I can see SO MUCH potential for different adaptive audio things that could be done with that. How deep into development of this project are you?

I'm just messing around with getting basic mechanics working .  I'm just gonna add stuff as I go .

Nice, that’s super cool. I think it’s really cool, and will be great when fully realized! Do you have any socials or Discord or anything I could add you on? I’d love to discuss more with you if you’re comfortable doing so!

Sure I'll message you on uncle musky  X channel . Formly known as twitter. :)

I'll start up a discord group.  Later today .  we can have chat parties and keep motivated.

That and the Discord sounds great! My Twitter… or X lol.. is @wellmaxmusic, and then I look forward to the Discord group whenever ya make it! I’m excited to talk more!

What are you working on good Sir?

Nice! I’ve heard of redot, but haven’t used it myself. But the community and open source aspects as well as not having to pay any publishing fees seems super great. It definitely seems worth looking into so I’ll have to do that!
