The game revives many concepts from old games I liked. It is also based on a true story, the Blood Countess. And the gameplay itself is about reviving!

Great work! I think the mechanic of reviving dead enemies is really interesting and there are some ways to about it for future iterations. One would be giving enemies unique abilities that are only countered by others, that way player needs to strategically kill and revive. I also feel like this kind of game would really benefit from a upgrade tree of some sort. I think that would help with the replayability of the game.

I've released a new version, but unfortunately I can't upload it here as to not interfere with the jams. So I've uploaded it on a separate page, check it out! :) In our page you can see the features coming in the next updates. Those enemies are coming, and the upgrades are the sort of thing you can unlock by achieving higher scores!
This game felt very satisfying, mowing down enemies and reviving them to do your biding. I've seem games in this genre before but this was my first time playing one! Great game!

Looks really cool! Adding twin-stick controls or mouse aim would put this in another league entirely. Pretty neat game, though. I really like the aesthetics of the game, intro, and game over screen. Very reminiscent of SOTN's game over; rad!

I'm willing to give it a try, so it's possible that we'll release twin-stick and mouse aim in next week's update. I hope it also holds up in the mobile version. Thank you for your feedback!

There is potential here but you guys need to add arrow controls and make it so that you can move and shoot at the same time. Same goes with the resurrection ability. Graphics and music were nice!

We will add the arrows as a second option then.
But being unable to cast and walk at the same time is intentional!
There's gonna be an update today (I'll name them as UPDATE and make it clear it's not the Jam entry), so follow me if you'd like to see more :)
I figured it was intentional, but I think it breaks up the pacing too much, this is an opinion though, other people might think differently. I will play the update when you drop it!
Hey the update dropped today :) The old files are still available to be taken into consideration for the jam.
New version is a big improvement and it feels a lot more intuitive to play with the arrows, space and ctrl. Add some pickups and power ups and this shit gonna be addictive.
