I've never been so invested! This is LOVELY, the writing is great, seeing the Sylvanian Families actually added a lot of extra charm to the experience. I hope you continue this I'm excited to visit it again!
Thank you so much!!! (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ
I'd like to make this into a mini series of game releases so I joined 'Finish your game jam 2024' that starts in a couple of weeks to flesh this one out, and with the current feedback I've had, I plan on using the Sylvanian families as the characters, then using my graphics tablet to draw silly facial expressions on top of them (/^-^)o日日o(^0^|)
Nice detective style visual novel game! (With some comedy story in this game xD)
Thank you for playing ( ^_^)o自 my sense of humour is a bit odd so I'm happy to hear it didn't fall completely flat lol
"How much was it [the opal] worth?"
"At least 12"
Comedy gold. Love the storytelling and how you set up the main character, too.
Thanks for playing (≧▽≦ノノ゙☆ the "At least 12" is because of a really old Tumblr post ( Picture of meme ) and since I'd seen it years ago, whenever someone asks me a question, most of the time I reply "... at least 12" then laugh to myself whiles leaving them confused because nobody gets this really obscure single online post that I'm referring to (ノ∀ ̄•) lol
The characters and their interactions left me wanting moreee (*╯^╰) Your visuals are so cute! I love the mix of hand drawn and photographed characters so much!
Nairda's oven really makes me anxious though aghh
Thank you for playing ʕ→ᴥ← ʔ I'm glad you enjoyed it, the oven is off but... I'll triple-check the oven is off just in case for you ʕ⊙ᴥ⊙ʔ
I love the use of real-life plushies so much
Hehehe I got them before making the game to use for the game design process, when I revived the project for this jam I didn't want to leave it blank on the missing character art spaces, so I thought it'd be funny to use them as placeholders ヽ(´∀`*)ノ
Honestly you should lean into it even more, it's so charming and really sets your game apart from other narrative games
