Title
Checkered Frost

Description
The song is about a crow watching a battle/chase between the black chess piece king and the white army. I made it using BeepBox far too quickly for it to be any good and I tried to go for a kind of military fanstasticalish style.

I can’t really tell what the tempo is, but I like the percussion sounds. Good work :)

For music made with Beepbox, it's pretty good.

There are some nice-sounding melodic passages in particular, which reminded me of Zelda a link to the past (SNES).

On the other hand, it's very difficult to hear the tempo and rhythm correctly. It would be easier if the percussion marked time. Your percussion marks a lot outside of time, and even outside of off-beats. That’s a bit confusing.

Otherwise, the use of few instruments and the two brass instruments in the melody convey the martial aspect well.

Thank you so much! Your piece is really good, and I feel inspired by it. Maybe I will try something a bit narrative next month :)
