I will use this topic to post progress of my Road Trip Game Jam submission.
I had an idea of using mouse controls in the cabin, including steering and shifting gears, amongst other things.

So far I am working on the basic driving mechanics, and will probably ditch the manual transmission as it's not too player friendly. a simple D/N/R transmission and a AWD lever is the next thing on my plans.
