You can hear samples of my recent work at https://soundcloud.com/nicholas-palmer-4/sets/video-game-tracks . I have a playlist on the site of downloadable tracks and clips as well, if they are of use to you.

Hello, I'm planning on creating a game set in a nuclear fallout world where the player goes on a road trip to an evac checkpoint while managing resources and fighting bandits. The soundtrack I am targeting is from the 1940s to 1950s to capture the retro-futuristic vibe(similar to soundtracks from fallout 4). I will also need help with SFX.

If composing music in this style is something you’re interested in, let me know. My discord is nin_no

I’m up for it! I was just listening to a few tracks from Fallout 4. Mostly synth driven, but not all. Moody for sure. I’ll listen to some more. How far along are you?

I just found out about this game jam yesterday,  so i'm still in the planning stage. The story is centered around a father and daughter, the father gets infected(radiation or something of sorts) and now has to take a round trip across the country to take his daughter to a rumored safe camp.

I’m listening to this: https://youtu.be/CjUM-jFZ4w0?si=LkCNnPordIJ2SzPk. Is this what you were thinking? Cinematic music is Lot of fun, If that’s the case

Yeah that's the type of music I'm aiming for

When exploring locations, I am aiming for more of a horror element to music. But for the road trip and at camps, aiming for of the cinematic element.
