I really like the concept of this faction, I'm curious how often wager would be used because it can drastically affect your turn. I do love the mechanic of other played warriors becoming your chips to fuel your engine.

I am wondering how the scoring of this faction would model because the internal faction scoring seems a little stagnant but I would have to play to find out!

Really like how you've toyed with the fundamental element of chance within root, and then built up on that with the wagering and battling mechanic. Really cool! I think this one specifically I would need to playtest in order to see how each component and idea works together to the benefit of each faction.

I think if you want to dedicate more board space to your actions or rules, I don't think you need an outlined space on the board for the coin. Up to you though as it's totally a matter of opinion. Great submission!

I love the idea of using d6s for root!

I love how hard you leaned into the betting theme! The House Edge coin idea is especially very cool and unique and requires you to think about whether it is worth it to use it. I do think balance-wise they seem a bit underpowered, betting seems to maybe help opponents more than it does the Dealers? The core idea is great though.

Thank you so much! I saw this root jam when there were 23 hours left for submissions while I was already making this gamble based faction so the "against all odds" thematic really aligned with what I was already trying to make so I figured I should give it a go. I have not played test the diamondback dealers yet but I figured it would be easier to buff them rather then nerf. I definitely wanna refine this faction so if you have any suggestions I would live to hear more of your thoughts.
