Always great to see a strategic RPG! Even better that we get to play as the robots crushing the puny humans!

Although it's a bit weird that it's supposed to be steampunk yet the humans are all fighting with swords? Against the mighty metal machine hordes??

Gameplay felt good, party of two melees, one ranged, one healer, although all the human enemies were melee. Also sometimes the AI would seemingly fizzle and enemies would just  waste their turn going back and forth. Not sure what the stats did so ended up just spending all the points in HP and strength to show the machine superiority to the inferior organics.

Graphics also very nice, loved seeing all the little "jumps" of moving units, nice simple UI.

This game was super cool as I love tactical games like these. The turn based mechanics and AI felt smooth. My only issue is that it would not be considered an RPG game. But still, looks like your team put in a lot of work on it, good job!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!) I would not agree with your issue that this is not an RPG, the game has a moral choice that affects the ending, classic for tactics RPG mechanics like upgrading and different roles in your party. Maybe I would add more storytelling and small dialog between party members for immersive experience.

Yes, RPGs defiantly evolved from the traditional sense of what an RPG game consists of and there are many hybrids. :) I guess I was more referring to your traditional style of an RPG. I still can appreciate the work that was put into this game!

Nice game, I'm interested in playing and finished the game.

It was short and did not have much explanation but yet clear, choosing to destroy humanity or destroy robots. The mechanism is simple, move or attack with action points. We have a healer, warrior, ranger, and tank. Cool! The leveling-up system in camp was the key factor to make the game fun even if the leveling-up condition is just winning a battle.

The only thing missing is the audio. Maybe later we can have more RPG side of gameplay, like some simple dialogue before every battle, or more complex maps and missions to build up the character.

Glad that you enjoy it!Thanks for your feedback! Yes agree with you, we missed the sounds( Good idea about a littele dialog after the battle.
