Streamed your game last night, outstanding visuals and I dropped a 4 star on the audio because it was just so good, listened to the soundcloud during the game

your concept and storytelling was great, seems you were pressed for time because I'd love to see a few more levels get added in before the progression to the poetry.

Looks like you had a great idea for this one and look forward to some of your future stuff, definitely a highlight of the jam so far

Highlights for me were the music and the cool light lens flare in the first level

The visuals and storytelling was really interesting! I wish the text was a bit easier to read but I have to say there was a lot of potential in the combination of these things!

I think this game has potential, and even though you tried, you couldn't make me hate it! A very fun experience all in all. (Sidenote: one of the coolest things that idk if were intentional is the ability to dash and if timed perfectly dodge at the same time, just that mechanic makes me think of possibilities for an action game.)

There's a certain chaos to the visuals that I really enjoyed.  I ended up dying a bunch, but I think I'm going to give it another go tomorrow

Very unique experience, with really nice writing. It was like an interactive pixel painting!

thanks for hosting the jam and making a video and reviewing. :)

I loved it.
I'm a sucker for artsy 8bit, colorful pixel art and you delivered.
Also you managed to tell a very compelling story in just a few screens.

Kudos to y'all!

Honestly, I'll wait before rating your game.
The premise and graphics are so nice, but the first time I played I just couldn't restart easily when dying.
Now, it looks like the whole game starts from a very late stage, so much that in just two screens the game ends.
I reeeeally want to play it and rate it, so let me know when it's fixed!

Thanks for playing the game.

Also if it frustrated you, give it the fair rating you’d like to. I gave up on wanting high ratings from game jams a long time ago, and I think it’s only healthy for me to realize that my game is not as important or as good as I think it is. A good ideology to get better with each day.

If you’d like to give it a 1 star, do it. I’m not very interested in getting high ratings anyway. That wasn’t the goal of the jam.

It didn't frustrate me! I just think you might have set the "starting point" too far into the game by mistake.

The first time I played, there was an intro scene where the protagonist was crying over a dead body, but now it starts near the actual end of the game.

Don't take it as a hard critic or anything, it's not even about the rating - I'm just pointing out what I think is a bug or a glitch in your game that prevents people from appreciating it, even out of this jam.

There's no need to be so harsh on yourself.
