I'll have nigthmares. It was like watching Don't Hug me I'm Scared for the first time. Art was okay, I was trying to figure out how to play and then things just started to get really akward. I guess I was suppose to shoot the vaccines with my barking, but controlling it was confusing and difficulty.
Well the art style is to say the least, unique. It reminds me of more bizarre rpg maker games with unique looking aesthetics
I just don't really like the loud sounds effect that were playing in my headphones though but maybe that's just me.
Gameplay was confusing to me, I was walking around in circles, the screen started changing colours and bamm I'm back to where it begin.
I have to admit that as soon as I saw the screenshots for this game, I really wanted to check it out. I love the low colour-depth 3D art style. It kinda reminded me of the early 2.5D games, which used heavily compressed pre-renders. It all contributed to an aesthetic that was perfect for the jam.
I don't think I actually understood how to play the game, but I had a lot of nonetheless, and it kept me trying for a surprisingly long time.
On another note, what engine did you use? I'm guessing it's html5 based from the fact you used NWJS, but I loved the effects & shaders you managed to achieve the art style.
Overall, great job, and I'll look forward to seeing what you do in the future.
It's a construct 2 game ^^ Thanks for playing!
Nice, glad to see a fellow C2 dev at the jam.
I'm honestly not sure how to rate this one. I hated the art style; I think it's a neat style, but one I find very ugly. I couldn't figure out the gameplay at all, and then it started changing colours and making painful noises and then the game ended.
It's certainly one of the stranger entries, I'll give you that. And the opening narration did make me laugh.
Glad you appreciated the art style here ^^ I am glad I got a reaction on that.
I hope your experience was noisy, confusing and yet... interesting.
Interesting, definitely. But honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of this game. I think it's a good entry, but not my style.
