If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
The game involves just the single button, "spacebar," to fire pellets at enemy squares

This is a neat game, and I enjoyed trying it! It seemed to break for me at the third level, but other than that it seems to work fairly well.
Well done on submitting a game!
This one had an interesting concept but unfortunately bugs seem to drag it down. The first one I noticed was that if you move a block thats already place on the map the "Defenses Left" counter continues to decrement into the negative. This resulted in my being unable to place more blocks on the following level.
However I was not even able to really play the net level as enemies cubes kept moving towards my cannon before I had even pressed "Ready!" and I died as soon as I selected it. Even more strange was that when a similar bug started I simply clicked ready before they could get to me and I was able to pass 3 levels just by rapidly clicking ready. And then on the 4th level of this strategy I of course died as before, since the enemies had advanced far enough to kill me.
Also this is a very minor issue compared to the two bugs above, but the collider area for the purchase buttons in the shop doesn't seem to cover the top 25% of the buttons.
As for the game itself, its a neat idea of having a sort of tower defense game that relies on bouncing cannonballs at enemies, and the changing colours to denote health levels is a cool touch. The lack of sound is a bit disappointing, even some simple blips and bloops could have been nice.
Core gameplay is solid, but a hotfix would have been nice for the bugs, and a bit more life would be required for me to put this in the "So bad its good" category.
Its certainly an interesting concept.
The glitches (which everyone else has already mentioned) did sour the experience a bit, especially seeing as those glitches were more 'sources of frustration' than 'sources of amusement'. However, if those were to be fixed, this would be a pretty good game.
However, I'm still not entirely sure what the defence blocks are intended to be used for (are they just intended to be used to get in the way of the giant enemy squares? are they intended to be used as surfaces to bounce shots off so they can hit the giant enemy squares?)
It's an interesting take on a turret defense game, and on the modifier. It took me a moment to figure out that some blocks could take multiple hits and that I could only control when the cannon fired.
There are definitely some glitches. One round ended with blocks on the screen, then the next round ended immediately after starting, then I got an inexplicable game over.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?) this one just doesn't really feel "so bad it's good" to me. The core gameplay concept is solid, and the game itself feels really more rough and barebones than that magical mix of goodbad. It needs sound, it could use better graphics and some UI polish, but it's not really bad, and certainly not in that weird, janky, magic way that defines "so bad it's good" in my mind.
Pretty nice game. Like the concept! Bouncing bullet hell.
Hey I had some fun with this one! I really like the concept and its a pretty fun game! There were some bugs sadly, like squares not disapearing after a level, making me lose or win, but that didint really affect the game. Cool little experience!
Great game. It really makes you think about the coloured blocks that life throws at you and how the best thing to do is shoot balls at them. Deep.
I cant seem to open the game. Im on windows. Id love to play it!
