Wow thank you for all the kind words. I think almost everything you brought up is being addressed somehow in the first patch. Especially the slash spamming... whoever told you to hold the button in chat is the policeD:< but seriously I didn't find out that it's broken until like a day after and I was really hoping no one would notice before I could patch haha. You complemented all the art and dogged on the one thing I did myself!! lmao finally was waiting for someone to trash my disgustingly out of place turret launcher thingies lol. Getting those redone is still a WIP as I'm obviously not very good at pixel art. I tried to tackle the theme as combining ninjas with skeet which I agree isn't the best but I was so sold on the gameplay idea I didn't care how much it actually fit the theme. Again thank you for taking the time to play it and give great feedback.
This game is soooo amazing i've been playing for like 4 hours how did you do this is 3 days. A few problems I've notices is that the score counter sometimes randomly becomes 90 and sometimes the fruit things get stuck in the wall. My high score is 99.
Thank you and yeah I noticed the score bug, not the skeet getting stuck though that's interesting I'll look into it. The scoreboard was resetting but it's being persisted through a database now so that should be fixed as well. I'm going to wait till after the jam to make any changes to the game itself though. I made the game with javascript which I've done a LOT of the past decade so at this point I can hack together stuff pretty quickly without an engine. Thanks again for your positive feedback, it's extremely motivational.
Something else that you could fix is that when the player throws a Kunai then it hits the skeet when the player hits the ground the the hit streak doesnt continue even though the player threw it in the air. I have a few ideas that you could implement in a post-jam version one is unlockable weapons for example bow and arrows with gravity and it would feel super cool when you hit stuff with it and maybe the good part of using it is that it gives more points, another is an accuracy bonus where you get a bonus for hitting consecutive shots. Anyway I'm looking forward for future updates! Also do you think you could try my game?
Super fun game, a bit frustating at first, but when you get the controls and the music start hitting, it really made me feel like ninja cutting everything.
Just feel like the game could be a little bit less difficult, like adding a life system, so you don't die too fast and don't get hard punished.
Overall, incredible game, keep up the good work, congrats!

++music is really cool and high quality, graphics, scene and character... looks really nice .
- difficulty is high to touch the object, and instructions , clicking all keyboard to find out.
I put the controls in the description, didn't have time to add anything in the game menu sadly. Thanks for the feedback!
Very nice but maybe add instructions, I could see this becoming a commercial game.

This was really simple and well made! Good job!
