Great graphics and simple gameplay. I like the that you can move away from the center it adds a bit of depth. Nice one!

319, final score! I liked it, but it could be a bit unfair sometimes when bombs came from multiple directions and you had literally not chance to protect. :<

Sprites very neat! :)

Your game is very cool! Great graphics! More feedback(like explosion animations or sound effects) when touch the bombs, fruits and hearts will be nice.

Hope you can play my game, too! -> https://itch.io/jam/scorejam17/rate/137957

Solid mechanics and good visuals. I was hoping to move the blocker a little faster but I enjoyed the game!

This could definitely be a good mobile game.

Love the art and the name :D

nice job!

Also, "submitted 1 second before the deadline"

That's cutting it a bit close :)

Lovely idea! I feel like it could have done better in the sound department, and made some things feel more impactful, (it was hard to tell if I was hit by the bomb or not at first because of the lack of visual effects) though, overall this was a fun experience!

Nice approach to the genre, felt good to play and was a unique experience so far! Great job :D

Pretty cool take on this general formula. Being able to move away from the center really adds a whole new level of complexity. Nice job!

Simple yet clean graphics. I just noticed you submitted one second before the deadline!! Great job with the game. I really liked the idea. With some more added features, it definitely has potential to be a good mobile game :D

Overall really like the concept super simple really easy to pick up and play. Fits the theme well. The sprites were really clean I think that some extra game feel things would be nice though like particle effects when objects collide with the slime. Maybe make the slime animate depending on what hits or by the amount of health left. The game doesn't seem to have any audio which could really add to the feel once again. I think with some audio and some of those effects would make this a really satisfying game to play. Solid submission! :D

If you have time and could check out my submission I would really appreciate it!

Here's some feedback on your game:

1. The Theme

Really cool idea, 5/5 stars

2. The gameplay

I really really like the gameplay, it's super addicting and intuitive, could be a great phone game. Maybe make more elements and make the game increasingly more difficult or something, but really good.

3. The Graphics

The graphics are perfect, they look really polished. A few things: I think you forgot to change the font in the main menu and maybe add some particles or more player feedback, that instantly makes the game more fun.

4. Sound

I'm sorry, but i'll have to give you  1 star on this. Satisfying sounds and music could really improve your game! But good job for submitting 1 second before the deadline!

I think this game will be ranked really high, it's really good.

I hope my feedback helped you a bit. If  you have some time, it would be nice if you checked out our submission too. Thanks! :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks a bunch for the feedback! I definitely agree with all your critiques, and after the judging period I'll be sure to upload a version with proper player feedback and sound. Thanks for taking your time and playing my game!

No problem! Also - you could randomize the background color. Just a nice little detail if you really want to make it into a  mobile game
