I really like the aesthetics with the put put golf track vibe. The color palette was particularly delightful :)

I feel though the gameplay could be more polished with more focus on physics edge cases and camera behavior. Some of the obstacles blocked view of the ball (maybe a see-through shader?) and sometimes the bounciness was inconsistent especially on slopes.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We do have a shader for the ball which worked pre build but couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working post build and ran out of time so. But we did put an overview camera you can use with holding the RMB.

I totally missed that, it does indeed help. Did the shader fail for the webgl build or was is a different issue?

Developer

It failed for both. Not really sure what happened just didn’t have time to troubleshoot.

Great game! The gameplay was simple to understand, and very well implemented. I'm mostly just impressed with how polished the game looks and how much content you were able to make for a game made in only 3 days. Great job! Maybe you could also check out my game? :)

Developer

Thank you! Will definitely check it out!

Hats of for making this in 3 days holy. the aesthetics are really good but mby the theme could have been incorporated a bit more. as for me sadly it seems that i aint gonna become the next tiger woods

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the look! This was honestly completely out of my comfort zone so I just did my best and put an unhealthy amount of time into it! Lol

Nice art and music, maybe the jam's theme isn't that accurate but felt really smooth playing it

Developer

That’s fair! Didn’t really want to do anything solely on bouncing and I just wasn’t really coming up with anything I liked so this is all I could do to be satisfied with it. They could’ve literally picked anything lol, bounce is not my strong suit apparently!

Still was a really nice game to play and to chill out, Maybe some platforms that would incentivate the bounce would have changed the situation :)

Cant believe this is a game jam submission?!? Really, good job on the aesthetics! Game play was smooth and enjoyable! I would advise to change up a few mechanics so it fits better with the theme and it stands out from all the other golf games tho... Other than that, one of my personal favorite submissions to this jam!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! Tried to do more of the theme and balance scores by a bounce multiplier to encourage bouncing. Honestly I was lost on what to make that was "bounce" aside from jumping, pong, brick breaker, helix jump, and bubble popper. Never made a game anything like this so this was a real feat for me!

Hey man, honestly great job. This game blew me away!

Thank you so much! I will be posting a YT video of the process. Made another game for another Jam if you want to check it out!

Pretty impressive submission. Also good level design. A rotation function would be cool to have a better sight where the holes are. But nevertheless cool game. I have to revisit it to improve my score. ;P

Developer

Thank you! The camera did give me some trouble cause I wrote it myself. Had to cut corners somewhere. You can hold the RMB for an above camera overview.
