I like the art, and the concept, some classic in your onw way, nice!

Wow, nice sprites. Some animations would help by the way. The amount of mechanics implemented really impresses

The variety of builds combined with the simple but fun concept, and an addictive soundtrack makes for a game I could play over and over again.

Very cool take on the theme! I really like the amount of upgrades you included so you really feel a sense of powering up. I felt pretty overpowered after getting a few which was fun. I think the hit box of the spikes is a little frustrating and the levels get very difficult so I hit my limit at around 3:30. Great job on implementing all the mechanics, and designing the levels to be beatable with any combo.

This game in great, is not very polished but the idea and the gameplay they make you stick to playing, great job. Furthermore, there are many things to do that on the surface don't seem to be there

Great game! I got a time of around 5:00 minutes. It seemes that abilities don't clear between runs, but it was a very enjoyable experience.

Thank you so much! I probably should have made it a little more clear, but the idea was to evolve your character over time so that in the end, you can have 1 of 16 different builds.

I know about the various builds, I think it was a really cool concept in fact, what I meant was that when I went to play through the game a second time my build from the first run through of the game didn't clear and I could get all of the upgrades at the same time.

Developer

Ohhhhh shoot I'll have to fix that.

Got a time of 7:46! Pretty good for a first game, the concept was interesting, and designing a level to be completed with several different character builds is a tricky challenge that you tackled fairly well. Not too bad at all!
