Nice spin of the theme. I wish the gameplay was a bit more engaging. 
There are a lot of fishing mini games to take inspiration from. A small quicktime event to reel fish in, or the ability to aim for a specific spot would be nice. Anything to give the player a bit more agency.

Thank you for the feedback :) I would've liked to add some sore of mini game like you said but sadly I underestimated the time I had to create the systems and wouldn't have been able to implement one within the deadline

I liked this game, I think it has the potential to be a great idle game with some adjustments and the ability to automate. I stopped playing after the second day because I felt like I had pretty much gotten the idea and it seemed like it would take a very long time to lose. Loved the art and overall aesthetic, the music was nice but I think the game could have really used some sfx, at least one for when the bobber goes down.
