The art looks amazing. Jump feels very good, I just wish there was more to it than jumping, like more obstacles or enemies maybe? But time is of the essence in these jams, obviously haha.
By the way, I think we actually used the same tileset for the lava xD
Thanks so much!
Yeah, I had plenty of ideas. I wasted a whole day just trimming down ideas to something achievable in the time window I had left.
That tileset was pretty neat. This is the one I used for the lava: https://beyonderboy.itch.io/top-down-lava-tileset-16x16
I really liked this one! The intro was simple but effective, and the pixel art, specially the lava art were great!
The movement of the hero feels nice , kudos for the song choice, really fits the game.
There's lots of potential in this game if you keep working on it, maybe put some enemies or power ups to slow down the lava or freeze time.
I found a little issue while restarting the game, it just didn't load the game after pressing the restart button.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I introduced a bug last minute and when I was about to upload the fix, the time was up, at least is playable. I will release the fixed version in a different page.
I did thought a lot about enemies and power-ups I had to scratch most of it and stick to the basics because of the time. But if this goes well I will continue working on it :)
Thank again for your feedback :)
Good, i will try this updated version!
The visuals are cute, but maybe more obstacles make it funnier :D
Thank you so much! Yeah definitely needs more things, I only focused on making the level procedural so it plays different games every time.
Thank you for your feedback :)
