I like the game idea very much, but it's too easy to block yourself in. (My Brain doesn't translate the graphics into tetris blocks well)

And then it's pretty frustrating to have to wait until the lava finally catches up to you.

A end game button would be an important addition. I just want to go again immediately, when I box myself in. :(

There is a "give up" button that does exactly what you say!! But it isn't explained anywhere so it's not surprising that you didn't know haha. If you press Escape while playing you can pause the menu and you have a button to end the game early there.

I actually wanted it to work by pressing a keyboard key to make it easier but I feared people would press it on accident and restart the game unintentionally.

Thank you so so much for playing!

There is no Fullscreen button, no, but that would have definitely helped address the resolution issues other people seem to be having. You're also very right about the retry button, it should let you retry without submitting your score. In general, I should have made it easier to retry when you mess up.

Thank you so much for playing!

Cool game! I like the music you used did you make it yourself? The Tetris mechanics work well, it took me a bit to realize you can walk on objects as they are falling which was a cool idea! I do have a few issues I encountered during my playthroughs. First, I'm not sure if this was developed for mobile but for a desktop, the game window is way too long. I had to scroll my screen up and down to see what was going on. Second, during a few attempts I encountered a bug where objects got stuck on each other which breaks the game by preventing other objects from falling. I attached a screenshot showing this.  Also at some points, I could walk in the air when there were no objects, this was not common though. Good work overall, the game is fun to play!

I wish I had made the music myself, hahaha! No, it's "Rondo alla turca", from Mozart. This version, specifically:

The window thing kind of surprises me, what resolution was your monitor on? It shouldn't matter but who knows. I did develop it with mobile in mind but plays just fine in my desktop, hm.

Yeah, that bug of the furniture piling up has been pointed out by others, and it's probably gonna chase me in my nightmares. I should've really just set the spawn point of the furniture to alternating between two different points to prevent this, buuuuuuut yeah, guess who didn't because they didn't find out about this up until it was already submitted ^^

Yeah, you can totally walk in the air sometimes haha. I believe it has something to do with weird collision detection by the raycasts the character uses.

Thank you so much for your extensive feedback :)

Cool game idea, I like your use of the theme and working tetris mechanics into the game. I'm terrible at tetris so I did not do very well in this game. I would suggest making your tutorial text a LOT shorter, when you hit people with 4 paragraphs of text they likely will not read it. Nice job on the visuals and the audio is simple but fits well.

Developer(+1)

You're absolutely right about the text. Easy to see now in hindsight but eh, now I know. Thx so much for your feedback :)

It's a game that I loved more because of my love for Tetris, but I couldn't play it anymore. I don't know if it's the html version, but I had a small bug where when I pressed "down" the game several times it created 6 pieces of furniture at once and they got stuck. The little that I was able to play I liked a lot. I would like to be able to play a version for Windows, maybe even finish it beyond the jam. It's a game that I enjoyed even the little that I was able to play. Greetings!

Developer(+1)

I hadn't come across that glitch. Clearly I didn't playtest this enough. Still glad that you enjoyed it :)

Submitted(+1)

I didn't say I enjoyed it, I said I loved it and I demand a full version haha good luck with your projects

Creative choice for this challenge,. I loved the combination of a tetris with furniture and lava <3
I still didn't got the most efficient way to reach the top, but i will!

PS: Loved the dynamic in the music, it really make us feel tense when the lava is comming

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I was worried that the music would get obnoxious since the loop is so short, but since runs aren't that long anyway it's not that bad I think.
