Thought this was pretty neat :D My own stupidity kinda messed up the part which would definitely have been more creepy if not for my family's tradition of naming all of our computer profiles + storage devices with ridiculous made up words x3 I still appreciated how clever it was though :3

One or two of the longer sentences got a bit lost off of the text box, but I see that's already been mentioned below!

I approve of the sleek look + pastel colours (I'm a big fan of pastel colours, haha.) I like stuff that messes with ya in general though, it's cool :3 Interested to see where you take it if you do continue to work on it some more as you mentioned you might in one of your comment replies!

This is a really fun game! The start was so believable I really thought it was like a mini OS I was booting up :P This reminded me a little of the movie "Searching". I dunno if the game got bugged out at the sharing portion or if that's the end of the game? The file share was a little terrifying :) A few things I noticed were that the large sentences don't really wrap , the colors could have a little more contrast so its easier to read the text? But overall really cool idea!

thank you so much for the feedback!
the game ends with a forced crash, but it should be pretty obvious it's forced, so the game might've crashed?
the character colors are randomized pastel colors, so sometimes the text gets pretty unreadable, i will fix it after the jam is done

I love the style and look of this game and I really hope you carry on developing it further! UI is sleek af and I wish my actual operating system looked that clean haha.

Lots of potential with this game seriously I can see a lot of ways to mess with the player with this style of game :)

Nice, this looks really sleek. Love the fake BIOS and OS.

Feel like the text could move a bit faster -- would be cool if multiple people were messaging you at once more often to make it feel a little more tense. Great job though

thanks for the suggestions! i might continue work on the project after the jam is done and i'll actually have a coherent story with multiple people messaging.
text/game speed can be modified in the bios startup menu under game length (lower is faster)

Ohhh I misunderstood that, I made it as slow as possible then hahaha. That explains my issue
