Wow that was incredible scenery, and an amount of work to put in there, I was spooked by the creature and the charging mechanism to add tension,  and the aesthetics of the alien creature is abnormally scary like a rake creature.

Developer

Thank you! That's interesting, I haven't looked up the rake creature until today, they're very similar indeed. Originally the creature in this game was inspired by the engineers from the movie Prometheus, found them very intimidating just like Resident Evil's Mr. X.

Wow awesome work - you did a good job tying UI, art and sound together. I love the flashscan mechanic; it's something we could take inspiration from in our game! :)

Thanks so much! When I played your game, I felt the similarity with the mechanics, I also even thought of taking snapshots when doing flashscans. Maybe great minds think alike! haha

This was pretty neat :D I saw you mentioned on the game page that it was inspired by a few different things, and I was definitely getting some Destiny vibes there! I really, really hated the moon on Destiny T_T haha. Just freaked me out, and this kinda reminded me of being there (in a good way, of course!) So yeah, I was already on edge right from the start xD

Really appreciate having the controls on-screen cos I don't play many keyboard controlled games nowadays, so it was a huge help in reminding me until they were stuck in my head :3

I think the flashscan tool is rather cool! Like how you have to recharge it + that it's not instant use cos it adds to the tension :3

I didn't do too well after a couple of tries, haha. The most I managed to find of my crewmates were 3/5 x3 I suck at most games though!

Oh, and the aesthetics are beautiful! Love the title screen, the map is cool, and the alien creature is creepy :D

The moon on Destiny was my favorite place to go to, because it feels so familiar, but doesn't!

But it was terrifying T_T haha. That place scared me more than anywhere else in the game! I still loved going there though cos I must be a masochist xD

I got spook a few times, tho I don't know why I think that the monster is cute haha

Good game! <3

๐Ÿคฃ When I made the monster design, I intended for it to make you feel that it's not a threat and somehow familiar, similar to Guillermo Del Toro's "The Shape of Water" creature and also the alien in another movie "Prometheus." Thanks for checking it out!

The assets here are really standout. There's just a lot of polish all over this game. The vibe is distinctly spacey, the UI is clean and on theme. Well done!

Thanks so much! I'm even surprised myself that I was able to put all these stuff in Trimorta within a short time, I only had 8 days to work on it.

Cool environments! Nice production value.

Developer

Thanks! Environment design was inspired from Destiny, like a combination of the Hive and Fallen architecture.
