Cute game and funny but still scary when you get chase by her. At first I confuse why it game over, there is no indicator that I can move now so I think it still part of dialog. After try WASD there is no movement too but using mouse it work.
Thanks! and yeah, I still think there's no WASD movement haha
I'll be copying and pasting something I said in another comment, I hope it's useful.
"It's arrows to move + shift if you want to run. Z or space to interact with stuff and X to cancel or go to the menu.
In the case of the mouse I think you autorun when you move if I remember correctly, what you do is touch the place you want to go to with the left click (you can also left click to interact with stuff, the thing is that the game is better adapted to the other controls so it might, in some cases, be a bit junky or strange). With the right click you can go to the menu or cancel stuff. "
Ah my bad, when I see the control I just assume WASD will work like arrow. Sorry about that.
Writing is good, the lines were interesting to follow and perfect for the setting. While the art is nice and vibrant, the music makes this world of witches mystical and unsettling. Good job! ๐
Though on gameplay, the only issues I had were the villain's very fast move speed (which I had to restart multiple times at the beginning) and the WASD & Left Click for interaction controls were not working on my end.
Thanks! It makes me happy to hear that you also liked the music, we didn't have a composer but I spent some good hours searching for music haha :'b
And about the WASD, there's no WASD movements as far as I know. It's or all mouse or arrows and Z/X interactions.
Oops, sorry my bad! My brain automatically thinks the directional keys are WASD haha.
hahah a lot of first person 3D games right?
The art and story here are amazing. Well done!
Thank you! <3 <3
nice game i love the art style and the story i had great time playing this game
Thanks!! <3
I need help x3 It's probably just me being stupid here, but I can't seem to stop it from sending me to a game over before I can do anything. The scene begins with dialogue, then suddenly asks me to save, then sends me to game over and main menu. I've tried pressing a few of the different action buttons, but I don't know what to do. I won't rate until I hear back from ya, cos that would be unfair, but it looks super duper cute and colourful :3
haha well, what you have to do is run to the left away from Lilith and find the bedroom to hide. Also, I'll say this cuz maybe you'll get stuck there too, when you do hide you have to listen to the noises. If you hear something I'll just say that it's not a good idea to come out yet :D
Edit: also, you run with shift.
Ahh, okie dokies! Thank you for the help x3 I will go back and try again now, haha. It probably doesn't help that my laptop is a piece of crap T_T
Okap! if you find yourself stuck again I'll be here uwu
I put this as an edit, then realised that you might not see it, haha. So just posting it here instead.
Edit: I feel so stupid for having to admit to this, but I still can't figure out how to move x3 I've tried the arrow keys that it mentions in the read me document + my mouse. I also tried shift at the same time. I must be doing something very wrong >.< it's like it's not registering my input or something. My laptop does suck, so it could be that! At what point do I have so try to run? So sorry for being such a numpty x3
Okap ,I'll explain, no prob!

And I think that's it. I might be forgeting something tho haha
Oh, the run thing, you have to start running after the chase music and the save screen.
I managed to finish the demo :D Thank you for your help! :3 Sorry about that, haha. It's just when I play games, they either tend to be VNs (which usually only require clicking), or, RPGs on consoles where I'm using a gamepad. It's been a looooong time since I've played games on a laptop that require me to use buttons, haha. Don't worry, I've been having that sort of problem all day with various games cos I'm just so ridiculously outta practice with playing stuff using a keyboard >.<" embarrassing! Haha.
So yeah, really appreciate you taking the time to help me out :3
I love the art in this, especially the little sprite for Notte! I was a happy bunny when I got to play as Notte and use transforming powers, haha. When I get to pick character classes in games, I always go for magic characters, preferably ones who can summon creatures, tame/befriend animals, or transform :D The music was nice too! Oh, and that sunflower was the rudest sunflower I have ever encountered x3 hehe. It'll be interesting to see how the full version turns out when it's finished :3 Good luck with the project!
We're so glad you managed to finish the demo! and thanks, good luck with your project too <3
Thanks! โก
