oh i like this one. offputting and malevolent vibes the whole time /pos

The idea behind the game is simple and interesting. Wasn't sure why the game refused to recognize the "s" input after a while. And I thought there was a lot more waiting than necessary since it's all about hanging with the crowd of RNG rats. But it's a nice title regardless.

Managed to get to the bottom. This has been one of my favorites so far! The gameplay is good and novel (especially scrambling for the hole in the dark) and the creature design is excellent. Not bad sound either.

The rat goes like this... and then it sniffs...

This has an arcade-like quality where I could play it for hours.

I really liked the visuals in the game, it was just clear enough to be easy to play but also had that distorted scratchy vibe! Simple sounds effects very comedic but added to that disturbing vibe as well, while the music was cool. Overall the style was coherent and just right, love it. The actual gameplay was pretty simple but evolving it each level made it interesting to keep playing, the difficulty had I'd say the perfect balance between randomness and actually skill. Also good usage of the level intro-cards to introduce the new gameplay element in a simple but interesting way!

Overall, I had fun time playing it! Great work.

And so hard, with very unusual and disturbing way!
I only went to 40 sec darkness.
