This game seems super interesting, but I think due to a bug I was unable to progress. I think having a more clear indicator of being able to talk, or that conversation with a character is done would be good for qol. Otherwise, there is a lot of potential with this idea!

Maybe make the player pushbox smaller cause its hard to go through doors. Pretty fun one shot

the top/down approach was an amazing choice, good job that was fun

I love top down perspective games so this one was really fun to go through, I wanted to keep exploring and talking to the tenants! I think one of the biggest things for me is investigation and this game does it very well! Also the sound effects were great.

Suggestions:

-Allow the player to progress the text without it being on auto or make it optional.

-More exploration and adding a few more threads to the final mystery.

Overall, the game was very fun!

Loved the top/down approach!  The texts are a little too fast to read, and at first I didn't deduce the E control.  Liked the storm ambient sound, it is fitting!  Didn't finish it, but I will revisiting it when the jam finishes.  Good work!

It's fun little game, small details in the environment and animations made it really fun. I'm kinda sad I didn't get to read all of the dialogue since some went by so fast, implementing a way to let player press the dialogue is always good. Regardless, I'd say the ending was fun too, a true lesson to be learned.

I think developing this further you'd get a great investigation game, maybe even adding lots of random interactable objects which you can inspect, but that's besides the point. Good work!

Nice top-down POV and oldschool atmosphere.
But...idk what to do after give the letters to the keeper - in 404  badroom message 'investigate?' and this is all.

I couldn't finish the game because of a bug, I couldn't investigate on Tessa's office. It's a shame 'cause the game was fun and I liked the aesthetics.

I hope you can resolve the bugs in the future "may the force be with you or something"
