  • Congratulations on your first ever game! That's awesome. I hope you're able to keep on making it because the visuals and animations are really cool. I like the backstory of just sneaking out to get a midnight snack!

I'm sorry to hear that you couldn't finish the game. Game Jams can be intense at times, especially if you are busy with real life stuff. The graphics you drew and used for the Jam were great, however.

Also, I advice that you put a "gdevelop" tag in your game so that the GDevelop staff can know how many games in this jam were made with GDevelop.

Cute visuals and intro, liked the sounds. I wasn't sure about the mechanics, and yes, it was a bit short. But I guess don't have to mention that you didn't have enough time for finishing your game - it's a seven days jam, you put as much effort into your game  you can.

I like the art style, I couldn't run it so can't say much more.

Pity that the game is not finished.

What's "D" key supposed to do, btw? I noticed there's animation there.

Developer

The reason D plays a animation is because i was testing to see what it would look like in game, but I forgot to remove it ๐Ÿ˜…

I like that you did all your assets yourself!

Wow, the atmosphere in this game is incredible, I really liked the combination of purple colors, it's a pity that the game is not finished.

I like that you worked on your art assets yourself. In the future, I would recommend putting your action buttons closer to each other. You want to put them close to where the hand is so people don't have to stretch their fingers too much. Using two hands is fine, but even then, the buttons weren't super clear and the description of what controls did what at the start disappeared a bit too fast for me to read. Overall a great start on your first ever game!

thanks for the feedback!

And also sorry about the controls and the other stuff, i was originally going to make the action button Z, X and C but i kinda forgot to do that and i was stressing with other things :P

Hey, that's totally okay! I get you, game jams are super stressful, you still did a great job!

It's getting good! Go on! Try my game, it has a flashlight, but you have to find it! :-)
