Can I change my game's name and description on game's page later?

I'm sorry this is a dumb question. I'm not really used to game jams.

I saw that we need to create the game's page here and submit to the game jam. The problem is that I don't really the game yet haha So I don't know what to put in there. Can I create this page with a placeholder name and description and later update it?

Generally, you create the games page when you are ready to submit your game.

I would personally not recommend a placeholder, it makes things a bit messy. However, some create their games page early and then update the page and game as the game jam goes on.

This maybe also a dumb question but can we still modify description in our itchio page although its the voting period?

Hm I think you can. One of the admins posted on Discord channel that we could fix major bugs and add extra plataform support so... I guess change the description is totally fine.

Generally you are allowed to change everything around your game that isn't your game. So just don't upload a new playable file. Changing stuff on the page should be fine, adding forgotten collaborators, new cover image, all that jazz.
