Excellent sprite work! The game has a very consistent visual style with assets that complement one another, which is hard to do. I think the game captures the sense of being lost in a sprawling mall well. The dialogue of uncaring or confused characters helps add to the disorientation. I'd love to see how this story ends!

Unfortunate side effect of itch.io sometimes. If you're on Windows, you can got to "Windows Security" -> "VIrus & Threat Protection" -> "Protection History" and allow the most recent "Threat Blocked." Then retry the download. Would not recommend doing this for anything else, obviously, lol, or even keeping it as allowed after the jam, but that's how I've been able to play games that happen to trigger this. Hope this helped!
Beautifully made! I looked everywhere to find my mom, then I saw your comment below. You guys managed to create an unsuspecting but unsettling environment with such pretty artwork and music. I look forward to checking out how you guys develop this game further.

the pixel art is beautiful and the sound also its really good in generate that discomfort sensation.
