Pretty nice visual design, good sound design and easy to use controls. Congrats on your first project! The only problem I had was the sounds, the volume of which I can't change, but other than that the game is good!

Yo, here I though I was gonna be playing your average platformer but color me impressed twice for the unique controls and how smooth they worked! Genuinely a fun good platforming game with interesting mechanics you can easily master but still feel how tricky they are. I think the only complaint I got in the controls/physics is that sometimes even if you collide middle of your jump you and you still keep that momentum left/right, this sometimes feels a bit weird, but tbh I also got used to it and it just became a part of the movement style for me after a while, so not even a big deal. I had blast exploring and I think it really tells a lot that I never felt that boredom/frustration of having to backtrack or going the wrong way. Also just in general super cute, all the little animations were really well done and relayed well info about mechanics and whatnots. The song was really nice, real sense of being a slime on an adventure to buy the cool new game console lol
Great work here!
Thanks a lot for trying it!
It's interesting that you say that. The slime interacted with the walls differently before but I decided to keep the momentum after my wife and kids playtested it. I'd go into more details but this isn't really the platform for that so if you're interested just keep an eye out for a dev log or too in the future.
That's 100% reasonable, like in the end it's your game and your choice how you want the mechanics to go ^^ I just happened to find it weird at first, but in the end quickly got used to it and started to even use it to my advantage. So all my yapping done, not a minus side at all, just something I noted, and I'm glad to see you indeed have a solid reason to go forward with it!
I like the music choice and how the platformer was well put together.
It was nice that the environment changed as you went down, that helps with a good sense of progression!
The mouse click to jump mechanic felt a little unusual, perhaps a visual aid that's more clear would have helped to know the direction and height of the jump! (I'm thinking about that angry birds strength of the elastic bar kinda thing)
Well done!
I really liked the visual style of the game! Everything is very nicely drawn and good animations are made!!! The music complements the gameplay very well! It is also very good, that I was able to complete the level to the end))
Jumping is tricky, but I love how you created the game's graphics, music, and sounds by yourself! That's a lot of work in a 7-day game jam!
Very fun gameplay, love the vfx on the coins and souls. The jumping felt inconsistent, I would recommend adding some sort of UI element to be able to discern how far the fella will jump, although this was not a glaring issue that I had with the game, just a suggestion :)
Thank you, I look forward to further releases, really solid game, and I loved the cute message at the end.
I felt like I was on a heroic adventure thanks to the music, and I quickly got the feeling that I had mastered the jump. However, as the movement is relatively slower (calculating more or less your jump with each move) I felt demotivated to try and collect all the collectables, although with so many I really wanted to! By the way, the gold and souls recovery effect is just perfect.
Fun game! Its a challenging platformer and I appreciated some of the small touches like the parallax in the background. Also cute story. Its not too spooky, but definitely fun and interesting.

Its a nice game for three days, but where are the screams? i mean, it was a fun game with nice graphics and in general a great game for three days, but i dont see the spooks
This was actually really fun and addicting. I was annoyed by the jump mechanic for like the first 20 seconds but once I got the feel for it the jumping felt really great and fun! Great work!
