Dungeon crawlers are always a blast to play! I really enjoyed the retro style of everything - from the gameplay & music to the sound effects & visuals. This game has lots of potential, and the work you were able to do in just a week is great!

Really cool type of game here, it's been a while since I played a crawler like that. I like the graphics a lot and the 3d movement is pretty cool. The monster fights did not totally integrate well with the game, also because basically you are at a straight disadvantage if you don't know exactly where to go since they basically just brutally deplete your resources, and the cure action is basically irrelevant. Easily a game that could be developed into something extremely cool.

I really like the 1980's dungeon crawler aesthetics, really reminds of elder scrolls daggerfall.
And good to see another Godot Game developer aswell ;)
It was a bit confusing on the first few turns though before seeing the red door.

I love this tile style in combination with 3D, it makes navigating around very smooth, fast and fun! I wish there were more games using similar style... Very well done!

Its a nice attempt on the dungeon crawling genre, the aesthetic is great and the sound effects are well suited.

On the fighting part, I'm not sure if I'm really fan of the turned based RPG mechanic, since we're already on a grid based Dungeon Crawler, having the fighter happening in the dungeon itself would be more immersive and would less harm the rhythm of your game, and the fighting music is very cool but takes me out of the mood.

If you really want to keep the RPG mechanic, I recommend you to invest more on its integration into your game (maybe keep the same scene as your dungeon but lock the player and show the fight for example)

If you work on this part and find idea to extend your game, I'm sure you will be on the right track :)

For 7 days this was great! I liked the design and artstyle, and the combat music was really cool. Hope to see more of it in the future!

Like the way you overlayed the fight screen on top of the 3D view, and love the cheesy fight music! :D Nice smooth 3D movement, and good dungeon tile graphics too.

ooh I love that mix of oldschool movement and turn based fights, great idea you could make full game out of it!

I like the atmosphere and sound design, but the music for the battles are a little startling. Hope you continue this project.

Very solid base for a dungeon crawler.

The atmosphere is well done with the light the second area.

hell yeah another dungeon crawler maker using godot! the music for when you start battle is extremely loud, but it did startle me and this is scream jam so i'll let it pass lol. besides that the game seems like it enters a turn based battle at random which is cool. i felt like i ended up dying very fast, especially since there's really not much feedback to anything, whether hitting or being hit. the art for the world looked nice though and the objective of finding the hole i felt was clear as well.

I really liked the art style and the movement it has such a great retro vibe. As others mentioned maybe a tutorial could come handy cause i was rather confused in the beginning. And yes when I entered the fight it was like a bit too fast for me I didn't understand whats happening, then I saw the little buttons at the top left corner. These should be more noticable :D But overall had a great time with it. Keep going you clearly have great style!

Fun little dungeon crawler, gives pokemon vibes with the battles and encounters. I don't know why I couldn't find the hole at first, it seemed like I was over it and not falling in it, but eventually I got it.

Very nice little game. Reminds me of those old 90s maze games. Great job!

Cool concept! The controls and encounters remind me of the pokemon games.  It was a little unclear what was happening during a battle, so maybe a little feedback could be given to the player like an animation or a sound for each move. It would be cool if the UI buttons could be controlled with the keyboard.
I finished it pretty quickly, but I did have fun! Good job!

i liked the movement system, i like a lot the dungeon crawlers. I recommend you to decorate itchio's page, in order to attract the attention of more players.

Love it~♥

Rated.

My main suggestion would be user feedback. A sound, animation, or UI notification can go a long way in helping the player connect with the game environment.
