Very cool, you did a great job of giving the game a cardboard look and feel! On my first try I lost in 5 seconds and didn't understand why. Took me second try to notice the notes at the top, but that is probably on me. The differences between HTML and .exe versions are upsetting but sadly common from my experience. But luckily I don't think it affected the game too much. Very good job overall :)

Woah! Animations are so smooth :o The physics on tomatoes are well-done! OoO Mixing two game mechanics is a great idea!!! It was fun! I laugh when I heard sound effects like “aaaah”, “eeeh”, “ouch”. Thank you for this moment 🤣

NB: There are some differences between the HTML version and the Win version 🤔 (shadows, Instagram button for instance). Maybe, it’s because of Unity 🤣

Thank you so much!

I noticed that the shadows are not in the HTML version and it sucks. They added so much depth to be able to track the tomatoes better! And I did not try the Instagram button, but ye.. it doesnt work either. That would explain why I did not gain a single Instagram follower! :D

I have build both versions at the same time, so it has to be because of Unity. WebGL probably can't handle some of it? I just have to remember to check for that in the next GameJam. Thanks for telling!

Haha, that is so much fun! Nice music, art, and gameplay. This could well have turned into a real game. My only complaint is that sometimes it is not clear when the tomato flew to the end. Other than that great work! (My record is 65 seconds :) )

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I was concerned about how well you could determine the position of the tomatoes. A friend suggested me to leave a stain in the wall where it hit, that would have probably made it more clear if it hit the wall already.

I think for a full game it would just need more variance with maybe different items thrown and definitely some cosmetics and level-ups :D Maybe even go rogue-like

Developer

Oh no, I just realized, that the shadows are not working in the HTML version. That sucks, they gave the play more feeling for the tomato depth... They only work in the Windows version then. Gotta remember to check that for the next GameJam game.

Oh, this is so creative, a mix between DDR and some kind of bullet hell ;)
love it

The best I've got is 49 seconds I think. it's hard!

Developer

Thank you! The idea to mix that somehow came on the fly. I just started out layering the stage images with prop images on it without having any clue where I am going.

And yeah, it's hard. I already made it a bit easier after letting my friends playtest it 2h before the deadline but I think it's still too hard.

That was fun I liked trying vainly to pay attention to both the tomatoes and the notes. Good job!

Developer

Thank you! Somehow it kinda works to keep attention on the notes while watching and dodging the tomatoes

Beautiful music in the background, I liked it, and the voice-over of the notes amused me. I also thought that when you lose, there will be some kind of sound like whoooooooo. :D

When I looked at the cover, I thought that for some reason I would have to play a platformer for a man in a dinosaur costume on the stage, but what is happening is more interesting. And yes, there is something in your drawing.

Personally, it was more convenient for me to use the space bar to sing, but still my result of more than 32 seconds did not happen)

Developer(+1)

Wow, thank you! I created a list of sounds I would want to implement like the "Gooo" when you start the game and the "Ouch" when you get hit. But I seriously never thought about making an end sound like you suggested. No idea how I could not think of that, but it would have been a great addition!

I usually use Left Click to sing, no idea if it's better. And I think I should have lowered the difficulty a bit more (Already lowered it after I have let friends playtest it 2 hours before the deadline) My best was 91, but you just gain so much experience playing the game while developing.

Thank you so much!

This is a really funny and well put together product. All the people dressed as trees or bushes, and the guy hanging as the sun hahah. I like the idea of a "rhythm" game with a...bullet hell game, and it plays well too! The art is perfect for the jam, good work!

Developer

Thank you! :D I personally like the dinosaur most
