Very cool idea! But damn that's a big castle - a bit too big for me, I really lost any sense of orientation xD A minimap could have been helpful or perhaps holding shift to run so I can get lost even faster! I didn't finish the game but I still thought it was a nice experience and I appreciate the voice acting!
I really liked how the story was told. I've never played Stellaris or FixFox, but it reminded me a lot of Return of the Obra Dinn and Outer Wilds. Full freedom to explore wherever you want and learn about the events in a unique order. I didn't end up finding all of the memories / journals, my guess is I missed one or two of the better hidden keys. But despite not seeing everything I had most of them and enough to work out the events before I met the queen. Awesome job!
Thank for playing! My husband was always missing a crumbled piece of paper (torn out page from a diary) in the Right Hand's room. One of the servants also keeps the key to his chest under the bed. Those must be the most hidden. And another servant needs to be listened after you read his diary. I hope you also found the gardening fork in the maze and returned to the gardener. There's one final puzzle that becomes available if you find all 39 stories. I am super glad you liked the game! Thank you for kind words. Merry Christmas!
I did actually find all of those things, but I don’t think I returned to the gardener or to the guy after reading the diary! I’ll try it again when I get some free time
So I tried again and I think I'm stuck on the guy and the diary. I went to the Artists room and checked it all over and the right hands room and did the same. I remember getting a key to the right-hand's chest, but I still wasn't able to open either chest to the left or right. Here's a screenshot of the progress I made, my guess is I've been looking in the wrong place. If you have a clue for me I'd be happy to try it again!
The key in Right hand's room is from the chest in right hand's office, which is in the main castle on the top floor. That should give you the 16th letter and you should be able to listen to him right there to get the 11 (because he's asking for key to his room, which you already found in the Tailor's room). Thank you again for playing it:)
I did it! That was really satisfying! Loved the last little puzzle and the whole idea of the secret ending. I was sort of hoping to find Whiskers somewhere but I was still happy to see a drawing at least! I've not often seen castles in games that have such an authentic-feeling layout like yours. Thanks for helping me, I hope I wasn't too bothersome. Happy holidays!
I am so happy you kept trying! The castle is authentic! It is basically a copy of the Alcazar of Segovia (well, I only had floor plan and a few pics, so maybe not an exact copy). Great idea to add Whiskers! I think we will add it:) Merry Christmas and happy holidays!

That is so cool! I bet it would feel pretty strange to visit that castle in real life now!
