Question about how the Champion's Smite works: how long does it last? Is it a round? Just for the next attack? Is it an action?
I had intended it to be an add-on to an attack action, used on said attack action! That was a good point-out, though, I'll clarify in some future supplements.
I like it, those classes feel pretty powerful
I like this a lot more than I like most class write ups. My *only* complaint (and it's tiny) is on the martial artist where it says "1d4+the". Bit of an eye-sore to me. Would prefer "1d4 + the", but I migh be alone there.
Good work nonetheless.
Hey, if that's the ONE issue, edits can be made in 1.1
Great ideas and propositions, but I feel both classes would benefits from playtesting and a bit of fine tuning.
The Champion ability to use all weapons is a bit strong. Maybe the could be able to use all melee weapons and crossbow as a range options?
As for the Martial Artist, I feel they should have a way to improve their AC. Right now, with a lucky Stat roll, their max AC is 14. Since they can't wear armor and they only a 1d6 HP, it doesn't bode well for them in fights.
Overall, great ideas, but a bit rough on the edges. Good work and I hope you continue creating!
The goal is to, post-jam, definitely update and fine-tune into a 1.1, post-more playtesting! Stay tuned!
Nice flavor to the classes and well presented. A little concerned about balance, but would definitely put them into play to see how they go. Looks fun!
I like both classes, the presentation is good. I feel that the lack of gear limitations on the Champion Class makes them too versatile, but overall both classes have a solid flavour and good implementation.
Thanks for the feedback! These are meant ro be living documents, so the more feedback and playtesting I get the more I can tweak and balance and alter- at least post-jam.
Cool. I dig it.
Thank you very much!
