- Beautiful visuals, love the unique style and the visual storytelling. Aside from the door doing funky things when you interact with it, there wasn't much of a clear connection to the corruptions theme (although you could argue the story is implying Grey Onel was "corrupted" into becoming Grey Leno, so I'll give it that). It was also unclear if there was more to the game past the TV sets, but I'm sure that has to do with the time limitations. Definitely an entry worth checking out!
- First off, thanks for fixing the lighting! Game devs have struggled with lighting for decades. Here's an anecdote for you. During the development of the first Sly Cooper, they actually had bought something like 20 of the most popular televisions of the time so they could nail the way the game looked. Their goal was to make a game that looked like it took place at night. Even nailing the look of night versus "lights turned off' was difficult for their art team. Most games these days have brightness adjustment for a reason. But enough of the cons! Let's talk about the pros, which I normally start with, but I did want to thank you after all! I liked the cold open. I liked the way the game looked. The atmosphere was great. This was awesome and I wish you had more time to work on this! I hope you take what you learned with you and continue to make games! You've got atmosphere and cool looks down easy. You're gonna make something super cool in the future, I know it. Thanks for submitting this game!

Fantastic job on the visuals! It was a little disappointing that there wasn't anything to do besides look around the rooms, but your team did a very nice job grabbing people's attention and making them want to see more. I hope your team continues working together, because you're off to a great start!
Thanks! Yeah we hope to do more stuff next time now that we have a bit more experience :) thanks for checking it out though!
Hey, like Shrinefox I'm having trouble with the game being too dark and looking nothing like the screenshots. I'm not sure how much there is in this game because I can't see much so I don't know how to progress.
thanks for letting me know! I went ahead and pushed in a new file with an added light in the scene, its likely lumen and I wasnt aware of how different it could look on other pcs, ill be sure to keep it in mind for the next jam!
Thank you! I'll be giving this another shot soon.
sure! its mostly a walking simulator, so nothing to really play other than to just look around, but thanks for giving it a look!
Of course! Just to be sure, it's only the two rooms? I wanna make sure I'm not missing anything else.
Yep! We mostly just wanted to practice making games, and as two artists that's as far as we got was shaders and props for two rooms haha. Thank you so much for double checking
And thanks again for letting me know! I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
Really like the cold intro into the lighting, this has a surreal mood to it! Felt maybe a touch dark, but was able to find my way around eventually, and there are some really impressive graphics to see, very well done!
(I promptly found a gap in the geometry and fell into the void, 10/10)
omg!! Thank you for the nice comment— and so sorry that Grey Leno consumed your soul like that 😭
This was our first game so apologies for the broken geometry bug- we shall look into that!!
